The electronic mortise lock «RIFF-12v» warranty is not valid if the defects are due to damage, misuse, tampering (also by the third person), neglect or lack of care and in case of alterations or repair carried out by unauthorised persons.
The following are examples of defects or damage not covered by this warranty. Please, take into account that these examples may not show completely all warranty cases and this list can be added or specified without preliminary information.
- Defects or damage resulting from use of the electronic mortise door lock «RIFF-12v» in other than its normal and customary manner.
- Defects or damage from misuse, connection of «RIFF-12v» lock with incompatible power sources, accident or neglect.
- Defects or damage from improper installation, maintenance, usage or any alternation or modification of any kind in the eletronic mortise door lock «RIFF-12v».
- Breakage or damage to units and details of mortise door lock unless caused directly by defects in material or workmanship.
- The electronic mechanical lock disassembled or repaired other than by the manufacturer in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim.
- Defects and damage due to range of environmental temperature by which DORI Co., Ltd.. guarantees to you the reliable operation of the electronic mechanical lock «RIFF-12v».
- Defects or damage due to moisten or liquid the electric schemes of the electronic mechanical lock directly or/and over a long period of time.
- Mortise door lock surfaces and externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to customer normal use.
- Devices connected to mortise door lock have defects or damage (which are covered separate manufacturer's warranties).
- Periodic maintenance and repair or replacement of parts of the electronic mechanical door lock «RIFF-12v» due to normal wear and tear.
NOTE! Depending on operating conditions and your usage habits, wear and tear take place of components including mechanical problems related to the electronic mechanical lock coverage, paint, units and any lock elements which are not part of the mortise door lock's internal configuration.The rectification of faults generated through wear and tear and the use of batteries beyond their Optimum Performance Time is considered to be your responsibility and therefore DORI Co., Ltd.. will not provide the free Warranty repair service for these items.
