The lock installed in a door, chassis or other device is controlled through the wires of external connection. See the scheme on the picture as an example of connection.
When you connect the lock to the RIFF keyhandles, you should connect it according to mounting instruction of electronic motor code lock RIFF-02.
At brief pressing on the Button 1 the lock will open instantly and will be opened for unlimited time, even if power is not supplied and wire is cut. At repeated momentory pressing on the button the lock unfastened immediately and will be closed for unlimited time, even if power is not supplied and wire is cut.
At pressing on the button and keeping it in pressing position for more than 1,5 seconds the lock will unfasten but if you stop pressing, the lock will fasten (at the influence of the magnet upon the relay).
ATTENTION!
The lock is able to analyze its position in the door-frame. If the door is opened or there is no a magnet influence on the built-in magnetic contact-switcher ( see picture), the crossbar will not leave the lock until the door is closed.
In case the door was not shut tightly and left the door-frame for 2 seconds, the crossbar would automatically return into the lock.
When you open the lock with a key and you take the key out of the keyhole and do not open the door, the lock will close automatically in 12 seconds. You can fix the lock in open state by means of a key having turned it clockwise against stop.
There is a adjusted spring roller on an lanch lock plate to fix the lock in coaxiality with gripping plate. Adjustingthe roller exit is realized by loosening the screw on one turn ( see picture). You should make this adjusting when installing the lock in a door. It is recommended to put the roller inside the case of the lock if the door is closed by means of an automatic door closer.
ATTENTION!
The lock eurocylinder ensures emergency opening of the lock.
