The electronic motor lock «RIFF» warranty is not valid if the defects are due to damage, misuse, tampering (also by the third person), neglect or lack of care and in case of alterations or repair carried out by unauthorised persons.
The following are examples of defects or damage not covered by this warranty. Please, take into account that these examples may not show completely all warranty cases and this list can be added or specified without preliminary information.
- Defects or damage resulting from use of the electronic door lock «RIFF» in other than its normal and customary manner.
- Defects or damage from misuse, connection of «RIFF» lock with incompatible power sources, accident or neglect.
- Defects or damage from improper installation, maintenance, usage or any alternation or modification of any kind in the eletronic door lock «RIFF».
- Breakage or damage to keyhandles, units and details of door lock unless caused directly by defects in material or workmanship.
- The electronic lock disassembled or repaired other than by the manufacturer in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim.
- Defects and damage due to range of environmental temperature by which DORI Co., Ltd.. guarantees to you the reliable operation of the electronic lock «RIFF».
- Defects or damage due to moisten or liquid the electric schemes of the electronic lock directly or/and over a long period of time.
- Door lock surfaces and externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to customer normal use.
- Devices connected to door lock have defects or damage (which are covered separate manufacturer's warranties).
- Periodic maintenance and repair or replacement of parts of the electronic door lock «RIFF» due to normal wear and tear.
Note: The pending time and total life cycle of rechargeable batteries for the electronic motor locks «RIFF» will depend on exploitative conditions and available external connected devices. As a consumable product, batteries assemblied with the door lock according to the specifications should be able to obtain the normal reliable operation of the door lock within the first six months from date of purchase.
Depending on operating conditions and your usage habits, wear and tear take place of components including mechanical problems related to the electronic lock coverage, paint, units, code lockpads and any lock elements which are not part of the door lock's internal configuration.The rectification of faults generated through wear and tear and the use of batteries beyond their Optimum Performance Time is considered to be your responsibility and therefore DORI Co., Ltd.. will not provide the free Warranty repair service for these items.
