Code matching is used to have an opportunity to unlock without permission. To make essential impediments or prevent this process is Securing against code matching.
The main point of securing is to block the lock for 3 minutes after four-time entering a wrong code both at opening and at programming. At setting up this mode an alarm signal is carried out (by an alarm line) for two seconds, and further entered codes (even correct ones) do not open lock.
Unblocking will occur in three minutes since buttons were pressed last time, and also it happens when opening the lock by the line of an external control system, by the OPEN button (in "DORI") or with another handle (in "RIFF").
To turn "Securing against
code matching" on or off can
be done by the functon 13, 14
and 15 in "DORI-4"
lock and "RIFF"
lock.
Opening under duress
The one of means of opening lock without permission is to force the code owner to open lock voluntarily.
In order to distinguish opening under duress from usual opening and to carry out an alarm signal (by an alarm line), a user's code should be modified ( i.e. you should decrease any code number in 1). The modified code also opens the lock.
If the modified code coincides with a one of a user's code an alarm will not be carried out.
To turn "Securing against
opening under duress" on or off can
be done by the functon 16 and 17
in "DORI-4"
lock and "RIFF"
lock.
